2020 Management Committee
We are very proud to announce our new management committee. With this group of passionate club members, we are hoping to see plenty of amazing changes come to the club during 2018
President: Amy Tate
Amy has been a member of Queensland Rodent Fanciers since early 2017. When she fell into the show scene she fell in hard. After her very first show she was HOOKED. Since then Amy has been a very active member of the club and gone on to become one of our Approved Breeders. After a successful year as president of QRF in 2019 she has been reelected as president again in 2020. Amy still have great love and passion for Queensland Rodent Fanciers and everything rodents and is very excited to help the club grow in any way she can! |
Vice President: Tenille Webster
Tenille has been a member of QRF for many years and is very excited to be the new vice president for 2020. As a rat breeder of more than 5 years, as Drakes Rodentry, and an active member of the club for just as long, Tenille loves being at shows and watching our community grow! She is look forward to supporting the rest of management in 2020 and hearing what everyone wants done to improve our little club. |
Secretary: Melissa (Mel) Carmichael
Mel have been a very active member of QRF for about 18 months. Up to date she has often put her hand up to steward on the show days. She is now our club secretary and is looking forward to being a part of the 2020 QRF Management Committee. Mel has been been breeding mice for 2 years and now breed and show rats as well. Along with my two daughters, Charlotte and Alexia, I run Pixie Paws Rodentry up on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. I’m hoping that in my time as secretary, I can help the club move forward and grow. |
Treasurer: Roy O'Hare
Roy, along with is wife Sandy, are QRF's longest standing members. They have both helped the club in many ways throughout their time with the club. In 2019 Roy stepped up to take over the position of treasurer, as well as canteen coordinator, when the previous treasurer decided to step down. Roy has worked hard in 2019 to manage the clubs finances and is looking forward to continuing that roll in 2020. |
Show Coordinator: Julie Storm
Julie has been attending shows since early 2018. In 2019 she was the show co-coordinator and is super stoked to be show co-coordinator again. She is extremely compassionate about both rats and mice, now owning quite a few... like quite a few!. During the last year she also learnt rat varieties judging and plans on learning much more and aims to help the club grow with her position on the management committee. |
